A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to non-existent addresses under the same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can receive emails from acquaintances or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an old one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some point you may begin receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all e-mailbox effortlessly if you have a cloud hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-laden, yet amazingly user-friendly, and it will permit you to enable different options, including the catch-all one, with no more than several clicks. All the mailboxes that you have set up will be listed in alphabetical order in this section and on the right-hand side of each one you will notice a small-size "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will activate this feature, clicking on it for a second time will deactivate it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will inform you if you’ve already got another one with this option activated or if you’ve got activated email forwarding.
