A: The web site migration service that we are offering is free of cost (to a certain extent). We’ll move your web site(s) to our next–generation cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from experience that changing hosting providers can result in lost info and undesirable downtime. For this reason, we’ll do all that for you at no cost!We’ve got highly trained administrators whose chief assignment is to make certain that your website works exactly as it did on your old web hosting platform. The administrators are experts in migrating custom–built sites, as well as sites that are based on popular applications such as WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time window, since there are lots of factors, including the physical size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our very best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not very large).

A: We don’t require any information that is sensitive. We’ll need, however, the login information for your present web hosting account and the name of the website that you want to transfer.

A: Customer privacy is among our main concerns – this is why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–class digital certificates. We employ safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and managerial procedures to secure the data that we collect online. And we’ve got a very detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we gather.

A: Nah. Your web site will remain visible online during the migration. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we will inform you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will need to do is edit your domain’s DNS settings.

A: While we migrate your web content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: We can transfer your web site from any web hosting provider or any Linux–driven hosting platform so long as we can access the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only sites that we’re unable to migrate are the ones based on closed–source software applications such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
